New rules from 1st September 2021

We are very sorry to announce that due to COVID restrictions starting from September 1st, 2021 only Patients with residence in European Union will be admitted for procedures at Chiroplastica. This restriction applies also to residents of Ireland.

Z przykrością informujemy, że ze względu na ograniczenia COVID od 1 września 2021 r. na zabiegi w Chiroplastica będą przyjmowani wyłącznie Pacjenci mający miejsce zamieszkania w Unii Europejskiej. Ograniczenie to dotyczy również mieszkańców Irlandii.

Safety information 

Regarding Patients coming from abroad for treatment at our Clinic, due to Covid restrictions and the increasing number of growing daily infections, we require Patients to produce a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result, obtained max. 72 hours before admission (or consultation, whichever comes sooner) to the Clinic. The only tests accepted are RT-PCR tests.

Preparing the patient for the examination:

The swab should be taken in the morning, on an empty stomach, after rinsing the mouth with boiled water, or about 3 hours after the last meal. Before collecting the material, do not:

>>>brush your teeth,
>>>use mouthwashes, lozenges and chewing gums.
>>>The swab should be taken at least 2 hours after the administration of intranasal antimicrobials (drops, ointments, sprays).
>>>Before collecting the material, do not rinse or blow the nose.
>>>Remove removable dentures before collecting the material.

DIAGNOSTYKA lab tests:

A mobile collection point for SARS-CoV-2 tests is located in Wrocław at ul. Ziębicka 34/38, on the premises of the Ambulance Service in Wrocław.
Because the results may take up to 72 h to be ready, if you are planning a procedure e.g. on Monday at 09:00, you should do the test on Friday at 08:00 at the latest.

Important information:
>>>The facility is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 12:00.
>>>At the point, only card payments are accepted.
>>>The waiting time for the test result is up to 72 hours.

COVID pandemia- safety measures at Chiroplastica

Due to the prevailing situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we strive to provide you with the highest level of safety.
There are 4 waiting rooms in the Chiroplastica Clinic, which allow you to keep a safe distance between patients waiting for an appointment.
A full package of personal protective equipment is prepared for patients, i.e. disinfectant, safety shoes and, if necessary, a protective mask.
All rooms in Chiroplastica are regularly disinfected and fogged.
There is a separate postoperative room for each patient who is subject to surgical treatments at our Center.

Additionally:

• no guests are allowed, only patients who come for consultations and treatments;

• the slots between patients admitted for consultations are longer, so that the number of patients in the waiting room is as little as possible;

• we also constantly remind patients to wear masks;

Bloodwork information:

We require the following blood tests before surgery:
 
- morphology 
- coagulation system (APTT, INR) 
- sodium and potassium (electrolytes) 
- glucose.
 
The blood tests should be done no earlier than two weeks before the surgery.

In selected cases, we also require:

-ECG

-EMG

-kidney function test

of which the Patient will be informed about during the consultation;
